Over the last decade, the Oil and Gas industry has progressively embedded the Life Saving Rules into its daily working practices and this has proven to create safer working environments and contribute to protecting lives.
In 2018, the IOGP published the updated set of the Life Saving Rules.
SBM Offshore decided to adopt those updated rules, reflecting the importance to simplify and standardize across our industry in the collaborative journey to prevent harm.
The Life Saving Rules are part of our HSSE DNA and, through our value of Care, we share those rules with the parties we engage and work with, including subcontractors and vendors.
